Site app
Import residents from a CSV or Excel file.
Do this on the reception device after the site is signed in. The owner dashboard does not import residents. Parcel In matches a label against this directory.

More, then Residents.
- Sign in with the site IDUse the site ID and site password. Do not use the owner email on this screen.
- Open MoreIt is the last tab.
- Tap ResidentsThe row shows how many active residents the site already has.
02
Start the import
Tap the upload icon, not the person-add button.
- Upload iconIt sits under the subtitle. It has no word on it. Its name is Import CSV or Excel.
- Person-addThe button beside Active residents adds one person by hand. That is not the file import.
- CSV or Excel (.xlsx)A UTF-8 CSV or an Excel .xlsx workbook, under 5 MB. An older .xls file is not read: in Excel use File, Save As, then Excel Workbook (.xlsx) or CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited).
03

Browse to the file. Recents is often empty.
- RecentsIf the file is not listed, do not stop here.
- BrowseOpen On My iPhone, or Downloads if the file was saved there.

04
Pick the sheet
A workbook with several sheets asks which one.
- Choose a sheetEach sheet with data is listed with its row count. The count includes the heading row. Tap the resident list.

- CancelReturns you to Residents. Nothing is imported.
05
Check the columns
Read the preview before you tap Import.
The page is titled Match columns. You do not rearrange the spreadsheet. Unit and name are required. Everything else is optional.
- First row is column headingsLeave this on when the first row says unit, name, email. Turn it off when the first row is already a resident.
- Apartment or unitThe flat, room or apartment column.
- Resident nameOne column, or a second name column that is joined. First name plus surname becomes one name.
- Second personMap Partner Name if two people share a row. An empty partner cell is skipped, not rejected.
- Read the countIt says how many rows are ready and how many will be skipped. A skipped row is missing a unit, missing a name, or has an email that is not valid.
- ImportThe button shows the ready count, for example Import 7. The preview should name the people you expect.
06
After the import
Done adds people. Archive is the move-out.
- Added or updatedA matching unit and name is updated. It is not added twice.
- Not in this fileThe dialog names active residents who were missing from the file. Their parcel and key history is kept either way.
- DoneLeaves those residents in the directory. Use this when you are only adding people.
- Archive N not in fileUse this only for a full turnover, such as a student move-out. It archives everyone who was not in the file. It does not move them to another building.
07
Check the directory
The new people appear under their flat.
Two people in the same unit stay as two records. Open a resident to edit or delete them. The person-add button is still there for one name at a time.
